What can I do if the ebay seller sent me the wrong item?

I bought a rock band bundle from this guy who has an ebay store. He sent me a ps2 game instead of a ps3 like it said in the ad, and the pedal on the drums and the mic. doesnt work. I contacted the guy and told him, a week and a half and a second email later, he writes back and wants to send me the proper working equipment and i send back the improper ones. i dont want to to this back and forth thing with him? what are my options? Is it and option to just get a refund if i go through ebay?
