Why do people continue to buy into the misconception that tax breaks for the rich and big business...?

..are going to put people back to work? If it hasn't worked in the past 10 years (approximately) what make you think it will? We have had two on going wars within this time. I thought wars of past brought prosperity at least temporary? They aren't creating jobs. All they are doing is pocketing win fall profits. Why stay the tax break course for the wealthy? What is wrong with this picture? Can someone explain logically to me the concept of continuing these incentives with a climbing deficit.
