Joining the Military?

I think you will find a lot of people consider that fact when they join. Personally, I had grown up in one small town, had never been more than about 100 miles away from it, and had never been on an airplane or even to another state let alone another country. I was ready to leave that town and see more of the world. That was one factor among others in my decision to join the Navy.
